The Widow Cameron is the new project and seventh album from songwriter Cameron McGill, and his first since 2013’s Gallows Etiquette. Produced by Daniel Johnson (Judah Johnson/Patois) and engineered by Neil Strauch (Iron & Wine, Bonnie Prince Billy, Andrew Bird, Margot & the Nuclear So and So’s), the album was recorded at Chicago’s Shirk Studios and features bassist Rodrigo Palma and drummer Charles Koltak. McGill is the author of two poetry collections: Meridians (Willow Springs Books) and In the Night Field (Augury Books/Brooklyn Arts Press). He lives in Moscow, Idaho. cameronmcgill.com

Formed in early 2021, monopines is a recording project led by Idaho-based singer-songwriter Corey Oglesby. The lineup variously includes Bill Tracy of Mother Yeti on lead guitar, Cooper Trail of Desolation Horse on drums and guitar, Nishit Nandankar on bass, and Jim Rizzuto of Mother Yeti on drums. monopines' debut album, Era Adieu, was written and recorded over the course of 2020.
