Collage Club: Spring Flowers hosted by Sonora Sounds
Inspired by English artist Mary Delany created collaged flowers very realistically in the late 1700s
Participants: club-goers are encouraged to bring a printed image reference of a flower they would like to re-create with collage. This will make it easier for them to create a realistic image if desired.
Sonara Sounds is an interdisciplinary artist exploring experimental photography, abstract painting, video, sound, and performance art. The confluence of land and water, the relationships between humans and animals, connections we have with each other, movement of our bodies, colors and sounds of nature, is an endless well of inspiration for her body of work. Action, processes, repetition, and juxtaposing mediums lead viewers inward. Sonara has shown, collaborated, performed, throughout the Northwest, Southwest, and New York. Sonara has a degree in Art and Technology from the University of Oregon.
