MOSCOW CONTEMPORARY AND UI PRISON EDUCATION INITIATIVE PRESENTS: BEYOND THE WIRE, FEBRUARY 10-18, 2023

In 2022, the University of Idaho began participation in the Second Chance Pell Grant Experiment, which reinstated incarcerated student access to higher education. In the same year, this effort formally emerged as the Prison Education Initiative (PEI).

In Fall 2022, PEI students completed their very first semester of college. Please join us in celebrating these accomplishments through a vast array of artwork skillfully made behind bars.
