"Capturing Grace" film screening, live class demo and conversation with the filmmakers.

Tuesday April 16th, 6:30pm, doors at 6pm - FREE event brought to you by Disability Action Center Northwest. Located at the Kenworthy.

A collaboration between filmmaker David Iverson and the acclaimed Dance for Parkinson’s Program out of NYC's Mark Morris Dance Company, "Capturing Grace" is a film featuring dancers of breathtaking beauty and determination. Worth seeing no matter what brings you, but especially if you or folks in your life or practice are living with Parkinson's, MS, neuromuscular or neurodegenerative disorders. It is a gorgeous film about people dancing for all the right reasons - to make and feel joy.

Tuesday's screening of "Capturing Grace" launches with a short live demo class led by UI Dance Department's Hannah Turner and Dance for PD® teacher Corrie Befort. "Capturing Grace" filmmakers join for a conversation following the screening!

Organizations offering local Parkinson’s resources will be present with information tables, take-home materials and provide assistive technology demonstrations.

This program is also supported by the Idaho Assistive Technology Project, CHAS and Gritman Medical Center.
